We have crossed the thousand cases of Coronavirus .. “Health” announces the daily statement

The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 513 people in recovery from the coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who recover of the virus to 108,474 cases to date.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, indicated that 1,021 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 51 new ones.

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 128,993 cases, including 108,474 cured cases and 7,260 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a number of media outlets to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases. These include the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, as well as the “Egypt Health” application available on phones.
