The commander of the Egyptian Air Force, Mohamed Helmy Abbas, affirmed Egypt’s ability “to go the extra mile to face what threatens our national security. Mohamed Helmy confirmed that all major branches, including the Air Force, have witnessed an unprecedented boom in weapons systems, especially in recent years.
He said: “Many modern aircraft have joined the latest armies, so the Egyptian army will have air forces capable of reaching the furthest range to confront what threatens Egypt’s national security.”
He added that to create the most suitable conditions for the operation of these aircraft, rehabilitation, training, and technical and administrative capacities have undergone tremendous development in accordance with the provisions and appropriate to the challenges and threats that lie ahead.
The commander of the Egyptian Air Force indicated that, “to continue acquiring and exchanging experiences and skills, sister and friendly countries have participated in many joint exercises inside and outside the country.”
“In conjunction with the development of the capabilities of the Air Force, the Air Force, in conjunction with the rest of the weapons of the armed forces, continues to fulfill its duty to combat terrorism and secure borders 24 hours a day,” he said. .
