The Egyptian actress, Laila Elwi, sparked widespread controversy with her strange behavior after offering her condolences to the late Egyptian artist Mahmoud Yassin.
Laila Elwi shared the condolences of Mahmoud Yassin, and appeared in a black satin and lace dress, and wore a medical mask in application of the precautionary measures. Before surprising his audience, he went directly to the Amr Diab concert of a real estate agency, after the funeral.
Laila Elwi posted a video of her on “Instagram”, and interacted dancing to Amr Diab’s song “Bhebah”, wearing the same clothes she wore at the funeral.
Laila Elwi’s behavior infuriated the public, who could not fool him. One of them commented: “I am not sad for Mahmoud Yassin and the people who died from such a defect.”
And another wrote: “With the disappearance of Al-Izzah, I wish I was not with you.”
The funeral of the late Mahmoud Yassin took place Thursday afternoon at the police mosque in Sheikh Zayed city, and he was buried in the family cemetery on Fayoum Road.
The late artist’s family received their condolences on the grounds of the Royal City compound in Sheikh Zayed on Friday, after the Maghreb prayer.
The artist Mahmoud Yassin passed away at the age of 79, after enriching his artistic life with hundreds of important cinematographic and dramatic works.
