The great writer and screenwriter, Waheed Hamed, died on Saturday at the age of 77, after dying in intensive care at a hospital after a health crisis that forced him to enter the hospital a few days ago.
The body is expected to go to its final resting place this afternoon, from the Police Mosque in the city of Sheikh Zayed.
The last appearance of the great writer Wahid Hamed was during his honor last month at the Cairo International Film Festival in its 42nd session, where he appeared at the opening ceremony, as well as his presence at a large artistic symposium moderated by the film critic Tariq El Shennawy, which was attended by a large number of art stars, including Yusra, Laila Alawi and Mona. It is noteworthy that Wahid Hamed was born in July 1944 in the Minya al-Qamh center of Sharkia governorate, and has lived in Cairo since 1963 to begin his artistic career, which added dozens of important works to the records of cinema and drama, among which the films stand out: the sad night bird, strange in my house, the innocent, the dancer and the politician, and the ghoul. , Halvot, terrorism and kebabs, playing with adults, laughing, the image seems sweet, and the pleasure market.
