The Referees Committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF) has decided the referee for the match between Al-Ahly and Moroccan Wydad in the semi-final of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly will host his Moroccan counterpart, Wydad, in the return leg on Friday night at nine at the Cairo International Stadium.
وعلم The-Ahly.comThe referees committee chose the South African Victor Gómez to manage the match on the field, provided that the video channel referee and his two assistants are from Algeria and the fourth official, Sadiq Al-Selmi, from Tunisia.
Al-Ahly managed to win the first leg against the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca, with two clean goals, scored by Mohamed Magdi Afsha and Ali Maaloul.
And Betso Mosimane, coach of the first team of the Al-Ahly club, announced yesterday the list of the red geniuses that will enter the enclosure in preparation for the second leg against the Moroccan Wydad Casablanca, in the African Champions League competitions.
