Turki Al-Sheikh, president of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and owner of the Spanish club Almería, expressed his anger at the level of refereeing in the Spanish second division league.
Almería drew with Leganés with one goal for each of them, in the match that brought the two teams together today, Saturday, in the 31st round of the Spanish Second Division.
Morlanes scored the goal for Almería in the 90th minute of the game, but the referee awarded a penalty for Leganés, with which they tied in the tenth minute of time instead of wasting.
Al-Sheikh wrote, through his personal account on the social network Twitter: “What happened today is a farce of arbitration by all standards and to the reasonable extent of this Spanish league !!! We lost 8 points when judging! Even when?!”.
What happened today is a refereeing joke, at all levels, and what is reasonable in this Spanish League !!! We lost 8 points when judging! Even when?!
