Tunisian presidency reveals details of suspicious envelope containing toxic substance

She added that the director of the Presidential Court opened the envelope and found it empty of any writing, but as soon as she opened it, her health deteriorated and she felt dizzy and almost completely lost her sense of sight, as well as a Strong headache. .

He added that one of the office’s presidency employees was present when the accident occurred and felt the same symptoms, but to a lesser extent.

It indicated that the envelope was placed in a paper shredder before it was decided to direct it to the interests of the Ministry of the Interior, and that the nature of the material that was inside could not be determined.

And it was reported that the director of the Presidential Court went to the Military Hospital to carry out the necessary controls, and to find out the causes of the sudden health turbulence.

And he confirmed in the statement that the interests of the Presidency of the Republic did not publish the news on the same day that the event occurred, in order to avoid agitating and confusing public opinion, but on the other hand, this news was circulated in social media, so a clarification should be made.

He stated that the President of the Republic was in good health and had not suffered any harm.
