The General Traffic Department, headed by Major General Mahmoud Abdel Razek, Deputy Minister of Traffic, warned citizens in their recommendations while driving cars on main roads from dust or rain to avoid accidents and injuries.
He provided several guidelines and recommendations, which we monitor as follows.
1- You must travel at low speed due to the lack of the friction coefficient of the road with the car tires.
2- Control the steering wheel of cars well because the road surface can be slippery.
3- The safety distance between your car and the car in front must be doubled in order to park safely.
4- Avoid sudden use and severe pressure on the car brake device so that the car does not slide in any direction.
5- The signs indicating deviation must be used in a timely manner, to ensure your path and that of others.
6- Do not worry about anything other than the road so as not to lose focus
7 – Avoid driving in the wrong direction or directing cars into illegal turns to avoid accidents.
8- Leave the necessary safety distance between your car and others, so that it is not less than 4 meters per 10 km in the speed of “40 – 50 meters” at a speed of 100 km.
9- Operate the spaces continuously to ensure clarity of vision.
10 – Avoid crazy speeds while driving on the roads
The meteorological authority expects Thursday to witness cold weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and cold weather on the northern coasts, and cooler weather in South Sinai with moderate winds.
The meteorological authority also expects cold weather to prevail in northern Upper Egypt, and cold weather will prevail in southern Upper Egypt.
Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department of the General Meteorology Authority, revealed that the country is witnessing opportunities for light and moderate rainfall in areas of Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, Dakahlia, Western, Eastern and Menoufia, and moderate rainfall in Alexandria, Rashid, Baltim, Damietta, Port Said, Arish and Rafah areas, and an opportunity for snow in the heights of central Sinai and wind activity in Greater Cairo, the canal cities and the northern shores.
The weather forecast that the weather will be very cold at night in Cairo and Lower Egypt, very cold on the northern shores, very cold in southern Sinai, very cold in the north of Upper Egypt, very cold in the south of Upper Egypt.
