Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Public Services and Urban Communities, said that tomorrow Monday is the deadline to buy brochures of terms and conditions and pay the reservation advance for low-income units when announcing the first phase of the president’s initiative “ housing for all Egyptians ” with a number of 100 thousand units, indicating that the period for uploading documents electronically is extended only for units. Low Income Persons on the Social Housing Fund website, until Monday 12/21/2020, for citizens who have purchased bidding sheets and have paid in advance seriously reserving Low Income Units.

The Housing Minister confirmed that the purchase of brochures of conditions and the payment of serious introductions will continue to reserve housing units and register requests on the website of the Social Housing Fund for a period of two weeks, for those who wish to request the reservation of the 25,000 housing units for average income by advertising, until Monday, December 21, 2020 instead of tomorrow, Monday, December 7. 2020.

May Abdel Hamid, general director of the Fund for Social Housing and Support for Real Estate Financing, explained that the extension occurred in response to the desire of citizens to catch up with the reservation date, given that some people were slow to complete the documents required to present the announcement in light of the conditions and precautionary measures taken by the state during the current period.

He indicated that so far, the number of condition brochures sold within the initiative of the President of the Republic (housing for all Egyptians) in housing projects offered for low and middle-income people has reached more than 402 thousand and 766 brochures , and the number of citizens paying for serious reservation filings has reached more than 266 thousand. And 652 citizens and up to 214,000 citizens registered on the fund’s website.

Abdel Hamid said that the Council of Ministers agreed to increase the maximum income in the middle income axis, so as to guarantee the increase of the target segment of the availability of units for it, provided that the monthly income of the average income applicant does not exceed £ 14,000 for the family, and £ 10,000 for singles, instead of £ 9,000 per month for the family and 7,000 pounds per month for singles.
