The Northern Criminal Court of Cairo, meeting in Abbasiya on Saturday morning, is investigating case no. 5322 of 2020, in which 17 people are accused of confiscating Egyptian state assets, which the relevant agencies have estimated at 500 billion Egyptian pounds of state funds, by confiscating state land and property with falsified documents. Investigations by the Supreme Public Funds Prosecutor’s Office concluded that there was a formation of gangs that, during the period from July 2009 to February of this year 2020, and for 11 years, falsified official documents, in addition to stealing original official documents, filing formal trials and edit records of disputes over privileged lands owned by the state. In the neighborhoods of Giza, October 6 and Badrashin, owned by state agencies represented in the Egyptian Endowments Authority, Agricultural Reform, New Cities and Urban Communities Authority, in addition to editing reconciliation records and falsifying the record of judges and claims registration notices and disguise them. Deceive the validity of the proceedings of their litigation and their annexes with signatures falsely attributed to the first secretary of the court, and documented these sentences in the records of the Land Registry.
