“Our journey was very difficult, and having three days before the game is considered crazy,” Le Roi said, speaking to the channel “On Time Sports” after his arrival in Cairo.

He added: “How can the team and the players play after this long hiatus, they have traveled thousands of kilometers from Togo to Egypt. We are experiencing an unprecedented situation, but this is football.”

He continued: “In Europe, they have a break to recharge the players. My team did not get enough rest and the players will not perform the same way. I am angry about this.”

The Togo coach added: “We have four games left in qualifying, and we know we are forced to achieve a positive result in the next two games to improve our position in the group against a competitor the size of Egypt who have qualified players. , led by Mohamed Salah “.
