Today, Wednesday, December 23, the Minister of Health confirmed at a press conference that there was a significant increase in the number of people infected with the Coronavirus today, and Dr. Hala Zayed indicated that the Ministry today registered 911 new cases of Covid 19, in addition to registering 42 new deaths.

The minister added that this week is the most in terms of injuries and deaths, and Hala Zayed also warned all citizens that they should benefit from the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, 100 million health workers, noting that the Treatment and exam are free.
The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Hala Zayed, indicated that the fifty-first week is the highest in the world in terms of Coronavirus infections, and on the governorates most affected by the virus, it came in the following order:
- Cairo.
- Giza.
- Alexandria.
- Qalyubia.
The order of the provinces in terms of Corona injuries was as follows:
- Cairo, 31.7%.
- Giza 9.6%.
- Alexandria 8.2%.
- Qalyubia 5.9%.

- Western 4.0%.
- Fayum 3.9%.
- Minya 3.7%.
- Menoufia 3.2%.
