The Prime Minister’s decisions on new measures for coexistence with the Coronavirus will come into effect as of Monday.
(Masrawy), in the following report, reviews the most important activities and events to which the new decisions apply.
1- Weddings and weddings
In accordance with the decisions of the Council of Ministers, as of today weddings and similar events are allowed to be held in open places in hotel and tourist facilities that have obtained a health security certificate from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and other open places enabled for this activity by the competent authorities, provided that the number of attendees does not exceed 300 people, in accordance with the controls specified by the competent authorities, respecting all precautionary measures and health precautions established in this regard.
2- Meetings and conferences
Starting today, meetings and conferences will be held in hotel establishments that have obtained a health safety certificate from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and other facilities enabled for this activity by the competent authorities, provided that the number of attendees does not exceed 50 % of the room’s capacity and a maximum of 150 people, in accordance with the controls specified. Competent authorities, respecting all precautionary measures and sanitary precautions established in this regard.
3- Fairs and Parties
The resolution allowed the holding of exhibitions, cultural festivals and other similar cultural activities in the open spaces designated for this, provided that the attendance rate does not exceed 50% of the capacity of the place, in accordance with the controls established by the competent authorities. .
The decision affirmed the fulfillment of all the precautionary measures and sanitary precautions established in this regard.
4- Cinemas and theaters
The decision also stipulated the increase in the occupancy rate that cinemas, theaters and cultural houses are obliged not to exceed when receiving the public at 50% of the capacity, respecting all precautionary measures and sanitary precautions decided by the competent authorities.
5- Funeral prayers
The decision also stipulated that funeral prayers should be held in open spaces attached to houses of worship, at times other than the performance of religious rites and the main mass prayers, in accordance with the controls established by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Authorities. for non-Muslims, respecting all precautionary measures and sanitary precautions decided by the competent authorities.
6- Literacy classes
According to the decision, it is allowed to resume literacy classes and adult education activities in places that obtain the necessary licenses, in accordance with the controls established by the competent authorities, respecting all precautionary measures and sanitary precautions established in this regard.
7- Schools, institutes and universities
The decision also provided that the presence of students in the headquarters of schools, institutes and universities, in accordance with the controls specified by the competent authority, taking into account compliance with all precautionary measures and sanitary precautions established in this regard.
8- Sports activity
As of tomorrow, the government decided to return to second-class soccer training, to allow the use of training and recreational pools, in addition to opening nurseries in clubs and youth centers.
