There was a crisis between actress Ghada Abdel Razek and art critic Tarek El-Shennawi, in the context of her appearance in “Cairo Now” and her attack on the series “Sultana Al-Moez”.
Al-Shennawi’s attack on the series she stars in made her respond via the Alsturi feature on “Instagram,” and said she was receiving money to write about the artwork, and stated that she had been paid to pay tribute to his series “A Life’s Story”.
For his part, Tariq El-Shennawi refused, in press statements, to respond to Ghada through the media, saying that he will sue her and take all legal measures against her.
He stated that he had filed 3 complaints against the artist, including one for the Supreme Media Council, one for the Journalists Union and the third for the Actors Union, due to his verbal abuse and violation against him, stating that he would not file a lawsuit now, because if he filed a lawsuit now, he would not be able to address all three parties, He noted that he will wait for the results of his investigation, and if it is not satisfactory to him, he will file a lawsuit with the Attorney General.
El-Shennawy explained that, for the first time in her history, she resorted to these bodies, especially that she specializes in clarifying the relationship between the critic and the artist, adding that verbal abuse and smearing a person’s offer is not allowed, and that it will take its right by law.
He stressed that there will be no final reconciliation with Ghada, especially since he violated his offer, and his punishment must be severe and dissuasive.
He added during television statements that his talk about actress Ghada Abdel Razek was in an intervention with the media Lamees Al-Hadidi, and said about her that she is a talented actress, but in recent years her choices were not appropriate and the evidence is the lack of success of his series this year, which he presents within the Ramadan career.
For his part, Ghada deleted his post and put in his place a new post in which he said: “What happened due to the unintentional mistake of one of the officials in the management of my social networks … There is nothing between me and the art critic Tariq Al-Shenawi, except for all respect, whether we agree or disagree with the opinion and thank you. ” .
