“There are highly flammable chemicals.” 15 fire trucks attempt to control the Sadat factory fire

The Civil Protection Department of the Menoufia Security Directorate has paid for more than 15 fire trucks to control a fire at a chemical plant in the city of Sadat, Menoufia governorate.

A security source confirmed that firefighting vehicles are trying to prevent the fire from spreading between other factories to preserve it, and that the fire broke out inside an ink factory with barrels containing flammable chemicals, and Civil Protection continues controlling the fire.

Major General Ahmed Farouq Al-Qarn, Menoufia Security Director, had received a notification from the Director of Civil Protection, stating that a large fire had broken out in a factory in the Al-Hanager area, Sadat City, Menoufia Governorate , and a large number of fire fighting cars were pushed in to control the fire.

For his part, Mohamed Saad, Head of the Sadat Center, confirmed that the fire broke out in the Al-Hanager area, and several security leaders and governorate executives traveled to the scene of the fire, to follow up on the extinction process , and fire fighting carts were pushed, as well as ambulances to control the fire.
