The African Confederation Emergency Committee has decided the date for the resumption of the 2021 Cameroon Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar qualifiers.
The participating teams will be on a tight schedule from November 2020 to November 2021, in the race to reserve available seats for the finals of the two championships.
The qualifying schedule for the two tournaments was revised in light of the Corona pandemic, which has led to the suspension of sporting activities on the continent and beyond for some time.
As for the Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, qualifying will resume from November 9 to 17, 2020, with matches for the third and fourth rounds of the group stage, while the penultimate and final rounds will be played from 22 to March 30, 2021.
