The Egyptian youth team recently came to the stadium for their match against Libya, as part of the Pharaohs’ first round of the North African Championship that qualifies for the 2021 African Cup of Nations Youth in Mauritania.

And the coaching staff of the youth team prepared a list of ready players, which is 14 players, to resolve the matter of the match, whether there are enough players to sustain the match or not.

In a related context, Egypt’s match against Libya was postponed for half an hour, until enough final decision was made on the match.

Hours earlier, Rabie Yassin, the coach of the youth team, said earlier that the result of the second Corona virus sample had tested positive for the virus, in addition to 14 players from the youth team.

The Corona virus has hit the ranks of the youth national team players preparing to participate in the North Africa Championship, to be played in Tunisia from December 15 to 28, which qualifies for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. in Mauritania.

Until now, the position of the Egyptian team’s match against Libya, scheduled for this Tuesday afternoon, remains ambiguous, in light of awaiting a decision from the Competitions Committee and the Medical Committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF) .
