Books – Omar Qura:

Zamalek suffered a defensive crisis against Ismaili, played this Monday at the Cairo Stadium, at the opening of the last day of the Egyptian Premier League competition.

Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wensh, the center of the defense, and Abdullah Jumaa, the team’s left-back, were injured late in the first half, to be replaced between the two halves of the match.

Portuguese artistic director Jaime Pacheco made two changes by inserting Mohammed Abdul Salam and Islam Jaber in place of Mahmoud Al Wanch and Abdullah Jumaa.

Al-Winch was injured after interference from Ismaili forward Benson Shilongo, but continued to play before being kicked by Muhammad al-Shami, so the coaching staff preferred to give him rest.

After the end of the match, it turned out that the initial diagnosis of the winch injury was a bruise on the knee, and the player would be subject to a rumor to determine the extent of his injury.

Abdullah Jumaa complained of an injury to the rear muscle of his left foot, to be replaced, and Islam Jaber would participate in the left-back position instead.

This follows the injury of left-back Mohamed Abdel Shafi and Mahmoud Alaa, the last heart of the defense, but the latter can join Raja of Morocco in the African Champions League.

Zamalek is reportedly preparing to face Raja next Saturday in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final, after coming back with a precious victory in the first leg in Casablanca (1-0).
