The world isolates Great Britain … and two Arab countries ban flights due to the “new Crown”

Today, Monday, Hong Kong and India announced the ban on flights from Great Britain after the discovery of a new strain of Corona, to be added to the list of the country that announced a ban on receiving travelers from it for fear of the spread of the new virus of Corona.

India has said it will suspend flights with Britain until the end of the year. Canada announced this morning the suspension of flights from Great Britain as well, raising the number of countries that suspended flights to 24 countries.

Yesterday, several European countries suspended flights and train trips to the United Kingdom, due to the appearance of a new strain of the Corona virus, which is believed to be 70% more contagious.

Spain demanded a coordinated European response regarding travel to and from Britain after the Corona mutation, while the German government said the suspension of flights with Britain will begin at midnight.

And a government source announced that Germany could suspend flights with Great Britain and South Africa, due to the pandemic, as part of the return of some restrictions to face a new strain of the virus that appeared in Britain.

On the other hand, a correspondent for the channel “Al Arabiya” in Paris said that France was considering suspending flights to Great Britain, while Belgium said it would suspend flights and movement of aircraft from the United Kingdom.

In turn, the Netherlands decided to ban the reception of flights carrying travelers from the United Kingdom, starting today Sunday, after Great Britain discovered a new strain of the Corona virus.

The Dutch government said in a statement Sunday morning that the travel ban will remain in effect until January 1, adding that it is following developments and studying the imposition of additional measures related to other means of travel.

And to that, two Arab countries announced that they were banned from receiving flights from Great Britain, namely Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
