Councilor Hisham Ibrahim, deputy head of the Judicial Commission in charge of the management of the Zamalek Club, denied reports that the commission had studied requests from members of the General Assembly to remove the images from the banners of Councilor Mortada Mansour, club president, who was excluded from his position by decision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Councilor Hisham Ibrahim said in exclusive statements to Sada Al-Balad, that the Judicial Committee will not touch anything related to Mortada Mansour and we do not come to settle personal accounts and we have no ambition in the next elections, so the photos of Mortada Mansour at the club gates will not be affected or removed.
And he expressed his extreme outrage at the incorrect news spreading through the media, and I don’t know what the purpose behind it is, indicating that he wants the media to support Zamalek and not destroy it.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports had issued a decision suspending and excluding the board of directors of the Zamalek club, which was elected headed by counselor Mortada Mansour, and referring the financial irregularities that were monitored by the inspection committee to the Public Funds Prosecutor’s Office .
The Giza Youth and Sports Directorate appointed a judicial committee including three advisers to manage the Zamalek Club headed by Councilor Ahmed Al-Bakri and the membership of advisers Hisham Ibrahim as deputy, and Councilor Mohamed El-Sayed Attia as member until the result of investigations by the Prosecutor’s Office into financial irregularities or the expiration of the remaining legal period in the council.
