In the last hours there has been strong news about the postponement of the match between Al-Ahly and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, in the second leg of the semifinals of the African Champions League in its current 2019-2020 edition.

And on social media, a letter with the motto of the African Union was enough to postpone the confrontation until the beginning of November.

“Soccer 365” contacted a source within the CAF and confirmed in private statements that the match is on schedule and will not be postponed.

The source added: “There is no truth in what was circulated about the postponement of the Al-Ahly and Wydad match, as well as the meeting between Zamalek and Al-Raja.”

He explained: “Basically the two matches were not at the same time. If it was necessary to hold them at the same time, such as matches in which sports federations avoid the suspicion of manipulating the results, then the semifinal will be postponed, but the semifinals are different “.

The match Al-Ahly and the Moroccan Wydad will be played as scheduled at 9:00 pm tomorrow Friday at the Cairo International Stadium.

Al-Ahly had won the first leg in Casablanca with two earned goals, and a draw was enough to reach the final.

In the next few hours, CAF announces the postponement of the Zamalek and Al-Raja match to Sunday, October 31 or November 1, due to the multiple infections of the Moroccan team by the Corona virus.
