Yesterday Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 477 recovered from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who 109,462 cases have recovered from the virus until yesterday.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the Ministry, stated that 1,189 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 43 new ones.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
