French President Emmanuel Macron said universities will be closed, remote education is limited, and schools and secondary schools will remain open due to the rapid spread of the Corona virus.
And Macron said, in a statement on Wednesday night: “I decided to impose a comprehensive quarantine on all French lands, starting Friday, with some conditions.”
Macron announced that the second wave of the Corona virus may be worse than the first.
He stated that “the Corona virus is spreading at a faster rate and we need new measures to deal with the spread of Corona.”
He continued: “All regions are on high alert due to the spread of the Corona epidemic, and more than 36,000 cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in one day.”
And he added: “We have not acted adequately to prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus, the second wave of Corona will be worse than the previous one.”
He stressed that “we will soften the blocking measures when the daily rate of infection by the coronavirus reaches 5000”.
