Arsenal came back to mind and beat Liverpool 5-4 on penalty kicks, at the climax of Thursday’s matches, and qualified for the quarter-finals of the English Club Cup “Carabao Cup”.
The League Cup match “Liverpool and Arsenal” was broadcast on the BN Sports 2 screen, voiced by commentator “Youssef Seif”, on Anfield Road.
Arsenal took revenge on Liverpool, who lost 1-3 in the third round of the English Premier League last Wednesday.
Arsenal also beat Liverpool on penalties 5-4 after drawing 1-1 in the Community Shield match at the start of the new season late last August.
Arsenal owed the victory to German goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who saved two penalties.

Liverpool’s kicks were scored by James Milner, Dutchman Jorginho Wijnaldum, Japanese Takumi Minamino, Curitz Jones and wasted Belgian Divock Origi, Welshman Harry Wilson.
Liverpool qualified for this role at the expense of the “Lincoln City” team, after beating them (7-2) in the match that was played at the “Sinsel Bank” stadium.
On the other hand, “Arsenal” rose at the expense of “Leicester City” after overcoming it with two clean goals in the match played at “Walkers”.
