The newspaper said artist Ali Hamida, whom some compared to the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, refused to star in a movie to poke fun at him.
The newspaper noted that Ali Hamida had a friendly relationship with the late Libyan leader, for which he refused to participate in starring in a film that mocked the personality of Colonel “Gaddafi.”
Al-Ahram indicated that after the unprecedented mass and widespread dissemination of the album “Lulaki”, then-former President Hosni Mubarak commented in one of his political speeches, saying: “You all, that is, the Egyptian people, bought the tape with 4 fairies … I put on the watermelon ”, and it was then, the opposition criticized the government for the high prices of watermelon.
