The Hebrew channel “i24news” had stated, today, that “it was not clear why the travelers were arrested at that time”, but it was likely that this was related to “the problem of unregulated entry visas”.

Officials from Israel’s Foreign Ministry were quoted as saying that “consultations are underway to resolve the problem, and that senior ministry officials are now handling the issue.”

He noted that “it was decided that (Yusraire) would operate four flights to Dubai today,” noting that “at this time, all are being delayed and passengers are being asked to take the changes into account.”
And the UAE Foreign Ministry previously announced that “tourist visas to enter the UAE through airlines, travel and tourism offices have been activated for Israeli passport holders, pending completion. the constitutional procedures to ratify the agreement on mutual exemption from entry visa requirements between the two countries. “
