Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee to manage the emerging crisis of the “Corona” virus, through “videoconferencing” technology, with the participation of the Ministers of Endowments, Tourism and Antiquities, Procurement. and Internal Commerce, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Culture, Finance and Local Development, Interior, health and population, youth and sports, state information, civil aviation and social solidarity.

The advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, the President of the Egyptian Authority for Standardized Medical Procurement, Supplies and Supplies, and the Vice Minister of Education for Teaching Affairs also participated.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly decided the following:

1- Provide the drugs specified by the Ministry of Health within the treatment protocols, either in hospitals or private pharmacies, so that all people who need them can easily obtain them.

2- Direct the funds specified within the Central Bank initiative to increase the efficiency and development of fever hospitals and provide medical supplies.

3- Continue with the same mechanism and preventive procedures that are followed in different airports and tourist cities.

4- Present to the Council of Ministers the proposed closing dates for public businesses, tourist establishments and workshops.

5- The need to wear a muzzle, observe social distancing, and warn against non-compliance that leads the government to make some difficult prior decisions, which may economically harm some groups that the government is working to get out of their trouble during this period.

6- Follow up on the implementation of precautionary measures in all schools and universities, especially since we have millions of students, teachers and workers in the educational system, and the need for continuous coordination between the Ministries of Education, Higher Education and Health , in this sense.
