The mother of Private Abdullah Muhammad Antar, the hero of the 489 Mansoura-Cairo train incident, entered into a fit of crying over the air of the “Ninth” program on Egypt’s Channel One.

The soldier’s mother was affected by the question of journalist Wael Al-Ibrashi, who asked her to describe how she felt after the first telephone conversation with her son after the incident, and was unable to cry.

The soldier’s mother pointed out that she hoped that something bad could happen to her son as a result of the incident, while sending him a message saying: “I am satisfied with you, Muhammad.”

Activists on Facebook had circulated a video of a train chief and a conductor fighting with a soldier for failing to pay for a ticket and trying to get him off the train.

The editors of the video accused the head of the train and the conductor of intimidating the recruiter and insulting his military uniform, saying: “The monsters of the stars that fall on you”, and “do not let the opium get out of you.”

The video showed the passengers’ great sympathy for the soldier and his attempt to dissuade the head of the train and the conductor from getting him off the train and having a woman pay the money on his behalf.

The woman who paid for the soldier’s fare, who became famous as the “train lady”, said, “My son, I have 3 boys like you, sit down,” but he refused and collected the money to give it back.
