The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the incident of assaulting a girl in the Maadi neighborhood.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicated in a statement on Tuesday that “the Monitoring and Analysis Unit of the Al-Bayan Department of the Attorney General’s Office has monitored the circulation of a clip of a person’s assault on a child at the entrance to a real estate property. in the Maadi district of Cairo, photographed by one of the monitoring machines installed in it.
The prosecutor, counselor, Hamada Al-Sawy, ordered an urgent investigation into the incident.
The Public Ministry contacted the owner of the circulated circular and summoned her to investigate. She testified by watching her through the surveillance screens installed in the medical laboratory at her workplace at the scene of the incident of the accused’s attack on the girl by lengthening him to the chastity areas of her body.
The witness left to prevent the man from continuing to attack her, when he saw her, he left the child who had escaped him, confronted him with what he had done and monitored the surveillance machines, for which he took the initiative to leave, and an accompanying witness gave the same content of their statements.
The Public Ministry commissioned the Child Care Line to take the necessary legal measures in relation to the incident, and requested the police to investigate the matter, and to identify the identity of the accused and the victim, in order to identify them.
The Public Ministry authorized the arrest of the accused for questioning, and he was detained and investigations are being completed.
