The Meteorological Authority issued a statement on the forecast meteorological conditions in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the period from Wednesday, November 25, 2020 to Friday, November 27, 2020.
The meteorological authority revealed that the country is expected to witness from Wednesday, November 25 to Friday, November 27, a state of instability in weather conditions, according to the following:
Wednesday November 25
Heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms in some areas of the coast of the north (Alexandria – Matrouh Salloum – Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Arish – Rafah).
Moderate to heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh, Buhaira, Dakahlia – Gharbia – Eastern – Menoufia). Light to moderate rainfall in the north of Upper Egypt (Faiyum – Beni Suef – Minya).
This is accompanied by a decrease in temperatures and wind activity on the northern and lower coasts, which increases the feeling of cold.
Thursday, November 26
Heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria – Matrouh – Salloum Rashid – Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah
Medium to heavy rain, sometimes thunderstorm, in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Dakahlia – Al Gharbia – Al Sharqia – Menoufia)

Moderate rain in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh Al Buhaira – Al Dakahlia Al Gharbia – Al Sharkia – Menoufia
As for the Greater Cairo, it is expected to Greater Cairo witness from Wednesday 25 November to Thursday 26 November, moderate rainfall, accompanied by a decrease in temperature and activity of the wind, which increases the feeling of cold.
The Meteorological Authority confirmed that it is advisable to take all the necessary preparations and measures to limit the effects of rain, explaining that the forecasts are updated daily.
