This morning, journalist Samia Zain Al-Abidin, a member of the National Press Authority, and the widow of the late martyr Adel Rajaei, died of her infection with the Coronavirus.
Masrawy lists the most important information about Samia Zine El Abidine as follows:
1- Samia Zain El Abidine is an Egyptian journalist who studied politics and economics.
2- Samia Zine El Abidine graduated from the Faculty of Economic and Political Sciences in 1986.
3- Upon graduating the following year, he worked in the field of journalism.
4- Samia Zain Al-Abidin took over as deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper Al-Masaa and head of the newspaper’s military affairs department.
5- She was elected as a member of the National Press Authority in the previous session, while confidence in her as a member of the Authority was renewed in the latest modifications.
6- She married Brigadier General Adel Rajaei in January 1998, but had no children by him until his assassination on October 22, 2016.
7- I participated in the founding of some popular movements in support of the army and the police.
8- Former Defense Minister, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, honored her more than once.
9- Among the most important events that a journalist covered, the “90” Gulf War and all the army maneuvers.
10- She was one of the founders of the Silent Majority Coalition.
11- Previously, he asked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to attend the discussion of his master’s thesis at the Nasser Military Academy.
