Ihab Khorshid, brother of the late Egyptian guitarist Omar Khorshid, said the latter was married to Lebanese “Dina” in his first marriage, and to artist Maha Abu Ouf in his second marriage.

Ihab Khorshid revealed, through statements to the “Masrawy” website, that Omar passed away, while both Dina and Maha were “at his disposal”, and he did not separate from them, confirming that his brother “had no children from them” .
He explained: “Maha Abu Auf, Dina and Sherihan (Omar Khorshid’s sister) are not loyal and trustworthy to him, because they were aware of everything that happened.”
It is noteworthy that the deceased guitarist was in the spotlight in recent days, after many years of his death, in a mysterious accident, where Omar Khorshid died on May 29, 1981, in a traffic collision after leaving “Roland”, him and his Lebanese wife. Dina and her friend, artist Madiha Kamel, at the end of Haram Street, in front of the “Khristo” restaurant.
The Egyptian guitarist had worked with many famous artists, including Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Farid Al Atrash, Abdel Halim Hafez, and Umm Kulthum, and his film work began with a role in the film “My Dear Daughter,” which was directed by Helmy Rafla in 1971, and co-starred in both Najat Al Saghira and Rushdi Abaza, and his first full starring role was with actress Sabah in the movie “The Guitar of Love.”
