The Ministry of Health and Population announced this Wednesday that 411 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who have recovered from the virus to 111451 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 1,411 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and an examination that the ministry carries out in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to 56 new deaths.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Wednesday is 136,644 cases, including 11,451 cured cases and 7,576 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the governorates of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first-hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a number of media outlets to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health” available on phones.
