British police suggested that professional rapist Reinhard Sinaga targeted more than 200 victims, 60 of whom have yet to be identified.
The court convicted Sinaga, who is described as having the highest number of rape crimes in the country, last January of luring 48 men to escort him to his Manchester apartment and photographing them as he sexually assaulted and assaulted them. raped.
The British Supreme Court extended the minimum prison sentence for a professional rapist to 40 years, compared to 30 years in previous decisions.
Police estimated that Sinaga committed sexual assaults against some 206 men.
Senaga, who was a graduate student, waited for the men as they emerged from nightclubs and bars and lured them to his apartment on Princess Street on the outskirts of Manchester city center.
He drugged his victims and sexually assaulted them after they lost consciousness. He often filmed rape scenes and collected what he called prizes, such as his phones and similar personal belongings.
And when the victims regained consciousness, most of them did not remember what happened while they lost consciousness.
Police arrested Senaga after one of his victims regained consciousness during her sexual assault and began to defend herself, and then reported the incident to authorities.
Police found hundreds of hours of video footage of rape and sexual assault scenes on the Sinaga phone they seized, leading to the largest rape investigation in UK history.
Investigations revealed that Sinaga, who is of Indonesian descent, lived in a rented apartment minutes from Factory 251 nightclub.
Court documents indicated that he used the same method to lure his victims, most of them men, in the late 2000s or in their twenties, who used to leave bars and nightclubs after drinking alcohol and going outside and then accompany them to their apartment.
Many of Sinaga’s victims cannot remember what happened. But some say he gave them a drink after which they lost consciousness after consuming it. Most of them also did not know they had been raped until the police called them and told them what had happened.
The incestuous rapist alleged that all sexual practices were carried out with the consent of the men with whom they had sex, and that they agreed to film what happened while they pretended to sleep.
According to the testimonies of the victims, who dealt with the effects that occurred to them as a result of the sexual assault to which they were subjected, one of them said: “It destroyed a part of my life”, while another indicated that what happened caused that remained “for periods unable to cope with life.”
Deputy Chief of Police Mapes Hussain said there is more evidence “constantly emerging” since the trial, noting that investigators managed to identify 23 victims and now “believe that Sinaga committed sexual assaults against 206 men.”
He added: “We are continuing to work to identify 60 of these men, and we urge all those who think they may have been victims of these practices to contact us.”
After the conclusion of his trial, the Sinaga case was referred to the Court of Appeal by decision of the British Attorney General, who considered that the sentence was lenient without justification.
The Supreme Court justices also rejected the defendant’s claims for life in prison in this case, but decided to increase the minimum years in prison.
The judges considered that the accused did not express any remorse for his crimes.
