The high rate of recovery for the first time of the Corona virus .. «Health» announces the daily statement

The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 654 people in recovery from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who recover of the virus to 112,105 cases to date.

Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 1,418 new cases were registered that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance procedures, investigation and examination that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to 55 new deaths.

Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” said that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 138,062 cases, including 112,105 cured cases and 7,631 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows first-hand the situation of the “emerging corona” virus and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a number of media to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. These include the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Egypt Health” application available on phones.
