An Egyptian bank decided to close a branch in the capital Cairo after 2 of its employees were infected with the Corona virus.
Tariq Fayed, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Banque du Caire, announced the closure of the bank’s branch on Talaat Harb Street for a period of 3 days, after discovering two positive cases of branch employees, and conducting a survey of all workers to ensure their safety and injury-free, while performing all complete sterilization operations at branch headquarters over the course of 3 consecutive Days
The bank decided to transfer the services of the branch to another neighboring branch and to emphasize the application of all necessary precautionary measures for prevention, with disinfection and sterilization at ATMs in all branches of the bank in all parts of Egypt.
On Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced 488 new cases of coronavirus and 11 deaths.
He stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the Corona virus, as of Saturday, was 8,964 cases, including the 2002 cases that had been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 514 deaths.
