The government clarifies the reality of the return of air traffic normally on May 16

The Council of Ministers Media Center denied reports that the decision to return air traffic had been issued normally, as of May 16.

In the investigative report released today, the media center stated that it had contacted the Ministry of Civil Aviation, which denied these reports, confirming that it is not correct to issue any decision to return air traffic starting May 16. , explaining that the decision to suspend air traffic continues in accordance with a decision of the Prime Minister, and no decisions have been issued in this regard during the current period, highlighting that if new decisions are made in this regard, they will be officially announced.

In the same context, around 39 exceptional flights were made for the return of Egyptians stranded abroad, in coordination with the Ministries of Immigration and Foreign Affairs, and it is also coordinating among all relevant ministries to communicate with the Egyptians stranded abroad wishing to return to Egypt and facilitate their return mission, in light of the suspension of the movement.
