At the conclusion of its emergency meeting today, Sunday evening, the General Assembly of the Football Association demanded that the Five-Year Administration Commission of the Football Association continue its work until new elections are called, and the members of the Assembly General confirmed during the minutes of the meeting that they demand the continuation of the commission, provided that the clubs send official letters from tomorrow to the Olympic Committee and FIFA to officially claim this request.

While the leaders of the Five-Year Committee of the Football Federation decided, in agreement with the General Assembly, to apply the 8-year clause in an ascending manner, so that any previous candidate who had been in the career for 8 years but in a different position has the right . Prepared by the five-year committee in charge of FIFA to manage the affairs of the federation.

During its meeting, the association decided to modify the association’s membership clause to increase to 134 members, expanding to 60 clubs in the third division in addition to all the clubs in the premium division (18 clubs) and all the clubs in the second section. (48 clubs), in addition to the representation of the women’s, beach and indoor soccer clubs.

The extraordinary general assembly meeting began at eleven in the morning with the announcement by Mr. Amr Al-Ganaini, president of the meeting, in his capacity as president of the federation, that the legal quorum had been completed to attend with 79 clubs of the 96 invited clubs.

Amr Al-Ganaini also called the attendees at the beginning of the meeting to observe a minute’s silence for Dr. Hermas Radwan, president of the Bani Ubaid Club, while greeting Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, a member of the Five-Year Committee whose conditions of health could not attend, asking for a speedy recovery.

The president of the session urged the members to elect representatives of the association to follow up on the implementation of the amendments and proposals presented by the general assembly to the terms of the statute, indicating that putting the list in its final form is an inherent right of the general assembly, as the assembly elected at the end of its meeting: Councilor Jamal Owais, MP Tariq Al-Sayed and Captain Ali Salim Captain Ahmed Gohar for this mission.
