Jamal Mohamed Ali, substitute for the five-year committee in charge of the management of the Football Association, revealed the date set by Jabaliya for the start of the new 2020/2021 football season, after the end of the current season and witnessed many difficulties due to the Corona pandemic that postponed the end of the season as scheduled.
Jamal Mohamed Ali confirmed, speaking to the “Ontime Stadium” program with Ahmed Schubert, on the “Ontime Sport” screen, that the first week of next December has been set as the date for the start of the new football season.
Officials of the Fifth Committee of the Football Federation decided to extend the local registration period to November 30 instead of November 19, in line with the wishes of the clubs and coinciding with the closing date of the African registration, and the end of the current version of the African Champions League, which ends on November 27 with the match Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the African Champions League final.
Officials of the Football Association said that the second registration period will be from December 1 to 6, related to the registration of new club agreements, and Walid Al-Attar, Executive Director of the Football Association, revealed that the Registration will extend to Premier League clubs until November 30.
Al-Attar said the Football Association made its decision in support of Al-Ahly and Zamalek ahead of their meeting on November 27 in the CAF Champions League final, and continued that the extension of the restriction would allow the two clubs to benefit in the final from the players they wish to leave, provided they dispense with them after the final match.
