Walid Al-Attar, executive director of the Egyptian Football Association, said that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) refused fans to attend the Al-Ahly and Zamalek summit in the final of the League competition of Champions of the CAF (2020).

The final match is scheduled for the 27th of this month between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, at the “Burj Al Arab” stadium in Alexandria. However, the Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi authorized the transfer of the match to the Cairo Stadium.

Al-Attar also spoke about the fate of the new agreements and participation in the Egypt Cup competition, saying: “I don’t think Egypt Cup matches will be played with the new agreements, especially after rearranging the roster. preliminary for the new season “.

He explained: “It is possible that the new agreements will participate in the final of the cup, which is expected to be held on the fifth of next month.”

Al-Ahly is scheduled to face Abu Qir Fertilizers in the Egypt Cup quarter-final matches, while defending champion Zamalek will face Masr at the same stage.

Al Ittihad Club of Alexandria and Al-Jaish Vanguard were guaranteed to reach the golden square after defeating the Arab Contractors and Pyramids, respectively.

Walid Al-Attar finished his remarks about the start of the new season: “The new season is expected to start on the 8th or 9th of next month.”
