According to the new amendment made by the Competitions Committee in the list of the new season, in the event that a team wins the league title and the cup, it will face the league runner-up of the next season and not the runner-up of the Egypt Cup.
Yesterday Sunday, the Football Association Competitions Committee, headed by Mazen Marzouq, announced the general league match schedule, which begins on December 11 after obtaining the necessary safety approvals prior to their announcement. Obligation, and that the league competition will not be stopped by the participation of the Olympic team in the Tokyo Olympic Games, and no team will have the right to postpone their matches due to the presence of their players in the Olympic team, and matches will not be postponed except in compulsive circumstances.
Mazen Marzouq added: “All clubs should be aware of the difficulty of the situation, and that the league will be under pressure due to the many club and team ties,” while emphasizing that the league schedule will be compressed due to circumstances from the Corona period.
In his meeting with the Football Association with representatives of the clubs, Marzouq said that the costs of the swabs are borne by the clubs, which is what the clubs objected to during the meeting.
He added that no match will start in the league without an ambulance, and if it is not present, the referee will cancel the match and consider the team that owns the stadium defeated, noting that if the ambulance is delayed 20 minutes before the match, the club that owns the match will be fined.
