Cairo International Airport receives, shortly after, a mission of the youth team from Carthage airport in Tunis on board a medically equipped special aircraft number 3031 belonging to EgyptAir Airbus 320neo, provided by the Ministry of Civil Aviation to return the equipment from Tunisia, after coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Informed sources at Cairo airport said that the youth team mission will be received upon arrival from Tunis inside Terminal 4 of the airport, which is designated for private flights, because there is no mix between the mission and the travelers, especially after that the Corona virus struck its members, and extensive sterilization operations of the building will be carried out before and after the arrival of the mission. The team will take all necessary preventive measures and the mission is scheduled to go on arrival at the isolation hotel to undergo quarantine.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, had coordinated with the pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, the dispatch of a private plane with medical equipment to take the Egyptian youth team from Tunisia to Cairo in light of the coordination that took place with the Egyptian Football Association.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that he had contacted and coordinated with the various authorities concerned, either in Egypt or on the Tunisian side, to ensure that all capacities and supplies were provided for the care mission integrated medical, medical analysis and swabs, indicating that until the private plane arrived in Tunisia to return, the Egyptian team is closely monitoring the evolution of the mission’s health status.
