On Thursday, the Ministry of Transport issued a press release on the video of the incident of train No. 948 heading from Mansoura / Cairo on 9/9/202, explaining that the perpetrators of the incident were suspended from work and referred for an immediate investigation, and that the results of the investigation will be announced upon completion.

The Ministry of Transport confirmed the apology of Eng. Kamel al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, and all the workers of the ministry for overtaking a train passenger as a train track, in addition to affirming their respect and respect for all railway workers to passengers in general and to all the brave armed forces and police in particular.

The ministry statement indicated that the continuous directives issued to all railway workers who deal with the public of passengers stipulate full respect for passengers and work to serve them and facilitate their movement on the different railways, adding that all situations that arise produced between the railway crews and the passenger must be within the framework of the law and within the framework of respect for the passenger, and that the passenger does not tolerate any infringement of the rights of any passenger.

The statement highlighted that the ministry will continue to serve passengers, especially given the boom in the railway system in all its sectors and the great improvement in the level of service provided.
