The next edition of the Club World Cup 2021 will feature the participation of one of the Al-Ahly or Zamalek clubs, as the champions of the CAF Champions League qualify for the Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly participated in the FIFA Club World Cup five times in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2013, with his most notable achievements being at the 2006 World Championship when he won the bronze medal after taking third place. .
Zamalek came close to participating in the Club World Cup in 2001 as the first Egyptian team to win this honor as the 2000 Cup Winners’ Cup champion, but unfortunately for the white team, that version of the tournament was canceled.
Bayern Munich reserved their seat in the 2021 Club World Cup, after the Bavarian team won the European Champions League for the 2019/2020 season by defeating French Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final match in Lisbon .
Bayern will play the FIFA Club World Cup, starting in the semifinals, according to the tournament regulations, which prevented the European and South American champions from playing the first round and the quarterfinals.
2013 edition champions Bayern are second to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup, having joined Al-Duhail, who holds the Qatar League title for the 2019/2020 season.
Al-Duhail has officially guaranteed participation in the Club World Cup as representative of the host country after Qatari Al-Sadd was excluded from the AFC Champions League, because FIFA regulations stipulate that two teams belonging to one national federation should not participate in this tournament.
