Banque du Caire revealed the fact that all Banque du Caire employees were infected with the new virus at the Talaat Harb branch.

Banque du Caire said that, as part of what circulates on social media sites about the infection of Bank of Cairo employees with the Corona virus, Tariq Fayed, president and CEO of the bank, issued a statement according to the latest developments related to the spread of the Corona virus and within the framework of the precautionary measures that are taken and approved by the Ministry of Health.

The bank revealed that it was decided to close the bank branch on Talaat Harb Street the next day to uncover two positive cases of branch employees last Wednesday, and to survey all branch employees to ensure their safety, while performs all complete sterilization operations at the branch headquarters for 3 consecutive days.

Tariq Fayed emphasized that the bank is willing to provide its services to customers who frequent the branch by directing them to the bank’s closest branch on Talaat Harb Street. Fayed also emphasized the bank’s interest and its constant concern for the health and safety of workers.

According to the statement, the bank tended to apply all necessary procedures that take into account the highest standards of protection for workers and customers while ensuring the use of preventive masks and sterilization tools for workers in branches and the main center, as well as provide medical gloves at ATMs in all bank branches throughout the Republic.

The Bank of Cairo also continues to carry out continuous sterilization operations for all the bank’s departments and the network of branches in the different provinces of the Republic, highlighting that precautionary measures are at the forefront of the bank’s priorities in line with guidelines of the state and its concern for the security, protection and stability of the banking sector.
