He explained that the contacts of the embassy with the Ethiopian authorities indicate so far that Egyptian citizens have come to Ethiopia with the purpose of staying 14 days in Ethiopia and then going to the State of Kuwait, and not for tourism, according to the visas they obtained from Cairo, and that several of these citizens have violated instructions. The embassy affirmed that it is currently working to ensure the rights of these citizens and treat them appropriately, adding that this does not deny the host country’s right to take the measures it deems appropriate in case of violating the instructions to reveal the truth about the purpose of enter the country or the precautionary measures taken by several countries to face the pandemic.
