The Economic Court considers a lawsuit to fine Mohamed Ramadan with 25 million pounds

Today Saturday, the Cairo Economic Court is investigating case no. 119 of 2020, presented by the pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yasser, to fine Muhammad Ramadan with 25 million pounds in compensation for material and moral damages, after publishing an image from inside the cockpit of the plane driven by the injured pilot .

The lawsuit noted that the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, took advantage of the photo with the injured pilot to promote a music clip “You do not search at the airport,” which resulted in the pilot being punished for withdrawing his flight license.

It should be noted that Muhammad Ramadan obtained a ruling accepting the appeal of the verdict of imprisoning him for one year and paying a bail of 10,000 pounds, and a fine of 20,000 pounds in a lawsuit brought by the pilot Abu Al-Yusr in which he accused Ramadan to insult his reputation by posting videos on the Internet.

Despite the verdict, lawyer Majdi Helmy, the pilot’s lawyer, told “ET Arabic” that, “Despite the issuance of this ruling, the desired objective of this misdemeanor has been achieved, which is to prevent Muhammad from Ramadan attack the pilot or even mention His name is in any television or press interview until the verdict is rendered in the main claim for compensation for 25 million pounds.
