Alexandria – Muhammad Amer and Muhammad Al-Badri:
Today, Friday, the Alexandria Civil Protection Forces recovered the bodies of two brothers, one of whom was 7 years old and the other 6, from under the rubble of the collapsed customs property.
While the forces managed to remove from under the rubble two wounded, one 20 years old and the other 48, while the rubble is removed in search of others.
The governorate’s operations room received a notification from individuals stating that the roof of a property collapsed in the Customs district and that Major General Muhammad al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, moved to the site of al- Balagh.
The governor pointed out that the ceiling of the third floor, up to the ground floor, of the aforementioned building collapsed, causing injuries to one person and he was taken to the hospital.
Al-Sharif added that all utilities were separate from gas, electricity, water and all heavy equipment and cars had to be paid for by removing debris resulting from the property’s collapse.
It is noteworthy that the nucleus of “the rest of the broom” hit the coast of Alexandria today, accompanied by storms, lightning and a drop in temperatures.
