The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Tuesday, that 432 Coronavirus recuperators have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus. to 127,433 cases to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 643 new cases were registered that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and Examination procedures carried out by the ministry according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 55 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Tuesday is 163,129 cases, including 127,433 cases that have been cured and 9,067 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first-hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a series of media to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases, including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health “available on phones.
