Elaf from Beirut: The great Egyptian artist Youssef Shaaban died at the age of 90 in a hospital in Cairo, after being infected with the Corona virus.

The skilled artist had been in a hospital in Mohandessin after being infected with the virus, and his health had deteriorated, and he was transferred to the intensive care unit of Agouza Hospital.

Artist Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions, said that the funeral of the artist Youssef Shaaban will be held tomorrow, and the body will be removed from Agouza Hospital, provided that the burial takes place in the family cemetery on October 6 on Wahat Road. .

And his son, Zainab Shaaban, had revealed that his father’s condition was critical in a telephone conversation with Amr Adib on the mbc channel’s story program, adding: “We discovered the presence of the Corona virus by chance, after he returned. from filming in Lebanon, and he felt tired, and the pressure state, dropped, and after examining him, they discovered that he had contracted the Corona virus, in addition to a chest problem.

The deceased was born in the Shubra neighborhood of Cairo in 1936, and his father is a celebrated advertising designer for the Egyptian Gazette company. He received his basic education at Ismailia school and high school in Al-Tawfiqia. The police or the war school.

He began his film career in 1961 with a film in Our House, A Man with Omar Sharif and Director Barakat, and then his film work went on to over 110 films.

He won numerous local and international awards, and in 1995 he decided to move away from the film field and settle for one or two series a year to focus on his new mission as acting captain.

The late artist presented more than 130 series, notably Family and People, Shahd and Tears in two parts, The Wedge, and starred in the Raafat Al Hajjan series brilliantly in his portrayal of the character of Mohsen Mumtaz, and other series that They are still nailed in the minds of the Arab audience.

In his most recent appearance with a phone call from Amr Al-Leithi, the media, on his show “One of the People”, said that the series “Al-Mal and Al-Banoun” is one of the most important dramas of Egyptian art history, and that Muhammad Jalal Abdel-Qawi was at the height of his creativity with a wonderful setting and story, and director Magdy Abu Amira was able to work through the entire vocabulary.

She married Kuwaiti Eman Khaled Al-Shariaan and has a daughter Zainab and a son Murad.
